How to reset the Administrator Password for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Console?

ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ရက်အနည်းငယ်က Customer Site တခုမှာ User PC အချို့ရဲ့ Symantec Endpoing Protection အလုပ်မလုပ်တော့လို့ စစ်ပေးဖို့ ကြုံလာပါတယ်။

ဒါနဲ့ SEP Client Application ကို Re-install လုပ်တယ်ပေါ့။ Live Update အလုပ်မလုပ်ပါဘူး။

ဒါနဲ့ စစ်လိုက်တော့ Installer လွဲနေတယ်လို့ ယူဆမိပါတယ်။ ဒီတော့ Installer အသစ်လုပ်ဖို့ ပဲ ဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊ Server ကနေ Remote Push လုပ်ဖို့ပဲ ဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊ Web Link ပေးပြီး Install လုပ်ဖို့ ပဲ ဖြစ်ဖြစ်...

Server ပေါ်က SEP Manager Console ကို ဝင်ရမှာပေါ့။ ခက်တာက Administrator password မသိဘူးဗျ။ သိတဲ့သူတွေမေးတော့လဲ သူလဲ မေ့နေပြီဆိုတော့ ... ကြံစည်ရတော့တာပေါ့။ တခြားတော့ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။

Administrator password ကို reset လုပ်တာပါပဲ။

လုပ်ပုံလုပ်နည်းက လွယ်ပါတယ် ဒီလိုပါ....
၁) SEP Manager install လုပ်ထားတဲ့ Server ကို log in ဝင်ပြီး Windows Explorer ကို ဖွင့်ပါ။
၂) SEP install လုပ်ထားတဲ့ File Path ကို သွားပြီး Tools Folder ကို ဖွင့်ပါ။ (ဥပမာ။ C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools ပေါ့။)
၃) Resetpass.bat ဆိုတဲ့ File ကိုတွေ့အောင်ရှာပြီး Double Click နဲ့ Run ပါ။ Command Prompt Windows ပေါ်လာပြီး ဘာမှန်းမသိတဲ့ စာတွေအများကြီးပေါ်လာပါလိမ့်မယ်။ ထိုင်ကြည့်နေလိုက်ပါ။ အချိန် အနည်းငယ်နေရင် Command Prompt Windows ပိတ်သွားပါမယ်။
၄) Command Prompt Windows ပျောက်သွားတဲ့ အခါ  SEP Manager ကို Run ပါ။ user နေရာမှာ admin နဲ့ password နေရာမှာ admin ရိုက်ထည့်ပါ။ ပြီးရင် log in ဝင်ပေါ့။
၅) Log in successful ဖြစ်ပြီဆိုရင် password ပြောင်းဖို့ windows ပေါ်လာပါမယ်။ ကိုယ်စိတ်ကြိုက် ပြောင်းပေါ့ဗျာ။

ကဲ... ဒါပါပဲ။ မသိတော့လည်း ခက်သလိုလိုပေါ့။ သိတော့လဲ လွယ်ပါတယ်။
